Craig Holmes is a photographer based in the UK, presently documenting the British countryside.
Starting in the late 1990s, I began working as a Press Photographer, in both staff and freelance positions for various newspapers in the UK and abroad. I followed the natural progression to magazine and commercial photography, travelling extensively for various specialisms that included editorial portraits, fashion and architecture, leading to the co-production of a book with RIBA.
An exhibition of black and white portraits, sponsored by the BBC, and opened by Alan Yentob at the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham followed, along with two Newspaper Society Awards for photographic books relating to the culinary world.
Now, I photograph the British countryside and meticulously produce both small and large format prints in my own studio, ensuring that every print is produced to gallery standards, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each collector.
